MSU vs IU Football Tailgate Information

For those heading to Bloomington this Saturday here is the info for the tailgate:
To get as many cars parked together that are coming from Indy, St. Louis, and other locations the meeting point to caravan to the lot is Steak and Shake 1919 N. College Ave, Bloomington 47404.  We will meet there at 10:45am. Email if you will be there.
For those arriving at a different time, we will attempting to secure a tailgate location on E.17th St between N. Indiana Ave and N. Fess Ave (across the street from the stadium).  When traveling east on E. 17th St turn right on N. Indiana Ave (which is just after the Indiana University Credit Union) and then turn left into the grass lot.  The exact location will be emailed out to those attending around 11:00am.
The tailgate will be a pitch-in and BYOB!  If anyone has a grill they are bringing that they would allow others to use please let Paul know at  So we don’t have everyone bringing the same pitch-in items, we have divided up the food based on your last name:
A – G – desserts including fruit
H – N – appetizers including veggies
O – Z - salad (pasta, potato, taco, etc)
Obviously, if you have some item that is your specialty we want you to bring that item to share. FYI – IU allows pass-outs at halftime so any pitch-in food left will be available to eat at halftime.
Sparty and the MSU Cheerleaders will be joining us at some point as well as special guest George Blaha.
We will have corn hole, ladder ball, footballs, and frisbees to play.  We will have raffle tickets for sale (2 tickets to MSU/UM football game or 2 tickets to Champions Classic basketball).  Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.  The drawing for the MSU/UM tickets will occur at the tailgate.
Please email Paul at if you will be attending the tailgate and how many people will be attending.
